About The Podcast
Everyone has a favourite band. The Fauves are mine.
Every two-minute slob rock group has a book written about them. Not my band. Shame.
I know a fair amount, I want to know more – about them, their music, their history. The gold standard is undoubtedly a 300-page tome written by Andrew Ian Cox, but with that unforthcoming at time of writing, I’m starting a podcast goddamn it!
The podcast will review each and every song released by THE FAUVES (1988-now). Featuring interviews with all past and present band members, and those around the group at the time, we will also release small audio documentaries on each of their discs.
This podcast will hopefully also feature contributions from you, the audience.

40-something Melburnian who discovered the Fauves in his mid-teens. A bedroom musician/songwriter, but private citizen, not in the industry.
Host of DIRTY HARRY MINUTE, a podcast reviewing every minute of the 1971 Warner Brothers classic, starring Clint Eastwood (notice a similarity with this podcast at all, friend?)
